About Me
I am a retired Registered Nurse with over 40 years’ experience in the healthcare industry, specialising in End-of-Life care, elderly care and dementia support.
My career spans senior leadership roles within the nursing home sector, including General Manager, Commissioning Manager, Operations Manager, and Operational Support Manager. In these roles, I supported services with their day-to-day operations, consistently focusing on quality care, compliance, and person-centred practice.
I also spent eight years in health and social care recruitment, progressing from Consultant to Branch Manager and ultimately Area Manager, giving me a strong understanding of workforce development and service delivery.
In 2023, I completed Dementia Care Mapping training in Person-Centred Care at the University of Bradford, further enhancing my expertise in supporting individuals living with dementia. In 2025, I completed a foundation course to become a Person-Centred Death and Dying Doula and am now a member of End of Life Doula UK, strengthening my ability to support individuals and families at the end of life.
I am an excellent communicator with a proven ability to work collaboratively with organisations including the NHS, Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), local authorities, and other professional bodies. I am also a proud member of the Royal College of Nursing.
I offer bespoke, CPD-accredited training tailored to meet the needs of care providers, with a strong emphasis on practical, compassionate, and person-centred care.
